CineViewer Player, developed by CineSys.io, is a browser-based media viewing solution that streams high-resolution content directly through Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
Key Features
Direct Browser Playback – Stream high-resolution media without generating proxies or downloading files
Professional Format Support – Native playback of MXF, MOV, MP4, and image sequences (DPX, OpenEXR) with codecs including ProRes, DNxHD/DNxHR, AVC-Intra, H.264, and HEVC
Multi-Channel Audio – Review up to 16 audio channels with solo and mute controls
Zoom and Pan – Inspect video frames in detail for quality assessment
Closed Captioning – Support for SRT caption files in multiple languages
Use Cases
Quality Control and Inspection
Media professionals can quickly review high-resolution content directly from Diskover search results. Zoom and pan controls enable detailed inspection for quality assessment, artifact detection, and color accuracy verification.
Broadcasting and Live Production
Broadcast facilities can rapidly access archived content for live production. Producers and directors can quickly preview B-roll, archive footage, and previously aired content while preparing for broadcasts or assembling news packages.
Post-Production Review
Editorial teams can browse media assets in Diskover and preview content in CineViewer before importing into non-linear editing systems. Multi-channel audio support allows review of separate audio stems, dialogue, music, and effects tracks.

CineViewer Requirements
Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
CineViewer Player | Fully licensed CineViewer system from CineSys.io |
Network Access | CineViewer server must be accessible from user browsers |
Storage Access | CineViewer server must have read access to the same file paths indexed in Diskover |
Important: This integration requires a separately licensed CineViewer Player system. For CineViewer installation, licensing, and support, contact CineSys.io at support@cinesys.io or visit the CineViewer Player documentation.
Path Accessibility
The CineViewer server must be able to access media files using the same paths that Diskover has indexed. For example, if Diskover indexes files at /mnt/media/projects/, the CineViewer server must also have that path mounted and accessible.
Work with your storage and infrastructure teams to ensure mount points are consistent between your Diskover environment and CineViewer server.
