Media Services operate later in the content creation lifecycle. Organizations tend to handle encoding, packaging and repurposing archive content, and deliver this content to distribution.
Media handling is predominantly with compressed and uncompressed video and audio formats
Localization means they will often handle subtitle and closed caption files
QC workflows means they will also work with file-based QC tools
Editing is done with standard tools such as Avid and Adobe
