➲ Dashboard Overview
The Dashboard provides a quick, high-level snapshot of your data across all indexed locations (global), a specific volume, or a path. It highlights file counts, directory usage, storage consumption, file types, and opportunities for cleanup—all in one place.
It’s designed to help you quickly understand what’s taking up space and where to focus next.
➲ How to Use the Dashboard
✏️ Many visual elements are interactive—hover to see details, or click a bar or pie slice to open those results directly in the search page.

B | Choose What You Want to Explore | You can always see what you’re analyzing from the bar, starting with Dashboard for:

C | Total Files | Shows the total number of files in the volume. The bottom bar displays:

D | Total Directories | Total number of directories in the selected volume. The bottom bar shows the average space per directory. |
E | Files on Cleanlist | An estimate of files that are good candidates for archival or deletion. These are files with no access or modification activity for more than six months. The bottom bar shows the potential space savings if those files were removed. |
F | Percent Removable | The percentage of files on the Cleanlist compared to all files in that volume. |
G | Hot/Cold Data | Shows activity patterns and lets you see how much data is frequently used (hot) vs. rarely used (cold). Click a bar to open the detailed results in the Search page. |
H | File Type Usage | Displays file types (groups of extensions) and how much space they consume. Click on any bar to view matching files in the Search page. |
I | Available Space | Shows the total capacity of the volume, including what’s used and what’s still available. |
J | Top File Types | Shows the top 10 file types consuming the most space. Click any section of the chart to open those files in the Search page. |
K | Largest Files | The 10 largest files in the selected volume. Click Show More to see additional results. |
L | Largest Directories | The 10 largest directories in the selected volume. Click Show More to view more results. |
M | Filters | Apply filters to further customize your results:
⚠️These filters stay active—even if you switch pages—and will affect other analytics until you clear them. |
