The Directory Explorer provides an interactive, visual breakdown of file size, age, and activity across your directory structure. It helps you quickly understand where storage is being used, identify stale or inactive data, and prioritize cleanup or archiving—all within a single, drillable view.

How to Access the Directory Explorer Report
From the Analytics menu |

How to Use the Directory Explorer Report

Path bar: Enter or paste any path you want to investigate. |

File Tree: Displays your directory structure and allows you to drill down. Hover over a directory to see details, or click it to navigate deeper.

Open in search page: Opens the selected path in the Search page for further investigation. |

Copy path: Copies the full path of the selected directory to your clipboard. |

Reload: Refreshes the cached data. |

Sort By: Reorders the directory list by size, modified-age distribution, or accessed-age distribution. The age options can prioritize the coldest or hottest data. |

Min Size Filter: Sets a minimum data size threshold so the explorer only displays folders above that size. |

Min Mtime Filter: Filters results to show only items modified after a chosen minimum modification time. |

Max Mtime Filter: Filters results to show only items modified before a chosen maximum modification time. |
