User Analysis

Loads a global view across all volumes (unless filters are applied).

Loads the report starting directly at that path.

Top Users / Top Groups: Switch between storage utilization by individual users and user groups. The report relies on the owner and group metadata provided by your configured environment. Accurate reporting depends on proper integration and permissions set by your System Administrator.

Owner / Group: Displays the user or group associated with the data. Click any owner or group name to open the detailed results on the Search page.

Size: Shows the total size of all data associated with the selected owner or group.

Allocated: Shows the actual on-disk space the files occupy—useful when evaluating storage efficiency or compression impacts.

Size %: Shows the percentage of the total data size associated with each owner or group within the current report scope. Hover over the fill bar to see the exact percentage.

Cost per GB: Shows the total cost associated with an owner or group based on your storage cost configuration.

Avg Cost per GB: Shows the average cost per gigabyte for that owner or group.

Files: Indicates the number of files associated with each owner or group.

File Count %: Shows the percentage of files owned by each user or group within the current report scope. Hover over the fill bar to see the exact percentage.

Search users / groups: Filters the table by user or group name.

K

Filter results: Use the scope filters to refine the report.

• Current top path only limits the results to the selected top path or volume.

• Current dir only limits the results to the exact current directory.

Download CSV: Downloads the current User Analysis report in CSV format and saves it to your browser’s configured download location.

M

Reload: Refreshes the cached data.
