As an end-user, you can’t break anything in Diskover. What you see in the interface is an index of metadata, not the actual files themselves. This means you cannot edit, move (unless authorized), or delete any real data directly from Diskover. Feel free to click around and explore confidently.

Access to Features
Diskover is primarily a search and read-only platform, designed to protect data integrity. While certain File Action Plugins may provide limited data-movement capabilities, most users will only interact with metadata and search results. If you see this icon, it means you’ll need someone with admin-level permissions to complete the requested action.
