How to Search with a Path
You can paste a full path directly into the search bar to locate a file or view the contents of a directory. This is especially helpful when someone asks you to check a specific folder or file path.
If a co-worker sends you a path to investigate, simply paste it into the search bar to view the contents.
Using Paths from Different Operating Systems
If a coworker accesses the same storage through a different operating system or mount point, their path may not match yours exactly. For example, Windows, macOS, and Linux paths use different separators and structures.
Windows: \\server\share\folder
macOS & Linux: /mnt/share/folder
To avoid guesswork, the simplest solution is to ask them to use share → share results URL, so you can open the correct location directly from the link.
