User Analysis Overview
The User Analysis Report provides a snapshot of data utilization broken down by individual users or groups. It helps your organization understand who is consuming storage resources and how that impacts operating costs. This report must be enabled and configured by your System Administrator.

🌍 Scope: Global (all volumes) unless a specific path is selected in the filters.
How to Access the User Analysis Report
From the Analytics menu |

How to Use the User Analysis Report

Owner: Displays usage by individual users.

Size: Shows the total size of all data associated with the selected owner or group. |

Allocated: Shows the actual on-disk size the files occupy—useful when evaluating storage efficiency or compression impacts. |

% Allocated: Displays how much of the total allocated storage each owner or group uses, expressed as a percentage. |

Cost per GB: Shows the total cost associated with an owner or group based on your storage cost configuration. |

Avg cost per GB: Shows the average cost per gigabyte for that owner or group. |

File: Indicates the number of files linked to a user or group. |

% File: Shows the proportion of files owned by that user or group compared to all files in your indexed environment. |

View detailed results: Click any Owner or Group name to view detailed results on the search page. |
